Mariana Puckett, 83, of Festus who died Jan. 5, 2025, at the Collins House in Festus. Mrs. Puckett retired as a clerk at the Festus Walmart after 43 years. She also was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church in Festus. Born Dec. 30, 1941, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Helen Delora (Lotz) and Frank Peter Magre.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Raymond Puckett; a brother: Jean (Linda) Magre of Webster Groves; two nephews: Nathanael (Dr. Ann-Marie) Magre of Arkansas and Joel (Lyndsay) Magre of Arizona; three great-nephews; and a great-niece.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at Second Baptist Church, 723 Horine Road, in Festus, officiated by Pastor James King. Burial will be in Presbyterian/Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to Living Springs Camp. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
