Lynda Diane Walsh, 71, of Festus died July 25, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Walsh enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. She also loved going to Branson and taking cruises. Born Nov. 9, 1952, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Brown) and Thomas Carl Mobley.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Dan Robert Walsh.
She is survived by a son: Nathan (Robyn) Walsh of Festus; a sister: Brenda (the late Brad) Barnes of Affton; six grandchildren: Keith (Lorrin Charboneau) Rapp, Kody (Alyssa Bone) Rapp, Krystal (fiance Michael Condos) Rapp, Tristen (Morgan)Walsh, Brittany (Derek) Medley and Drew (Mikalyn) Walsh; and nine great-grandchildren: Ryder Walsh, Ivy Walsh, Wylder Walsh, Kylee Condos, Ruthie Condos, Michael Condos, Frank Rapp, Vera Rapp and Abbigail Rapp.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Ronald T. (Vera survives of Imperial) Rapp; and a brother: Keith Mobley.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Danby Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
