Loretta Kay Ogle, 64, of De Soto died May 28, 2024, in Festus. Ms. Ogle was a 1977 graduate of North County Technical School in Florissant, where she met many lifelong friends. She was retired and a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church in Hillsboro. She enjoyed four-wheeling with her brother, living in the country and being outside, particularly in her flower garden. Born July 23, 1959, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Lela and Gene Ogle Sr.
She is survived by a brother: Gene E. (Carleen) Ogle Jr. of De Soto; a best friend: Dolores Fumagalli of Washington; a goddaughter: Samatha Kay Fumagalli of Austin, Texas; two nephews: Brandon M. (Brittney) Clayton of Troy and Cody M. (Abby) Clayton of Lake St. Louis; two nieces: Sheila (Donny Smith) Ryan of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Annette E. Coning of Ballwin; three great-nephews; seven great-nieces; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Gail McClain; and a brother: Rodney Ogle.
Services are private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1001 Craig Road Suite 350, St. Louis, 63146. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
