Linda Rose (Stanley) Anderson, 76, of Oxford, N.C., formerly of House Springs, died May 19, 2024. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and raised two children. Later she became an account manager and retired from Lowes. She was a graduate of Northwest High School. In her free time, she loved quilting and caring for her flowers. Born April 27, 1948, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Thela Virginia (Callahan) and Wayne Joseph Stanley.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Ernie Anderson.
She is survived by two children: Scott (Candy) Gregory of Oxford, N.C., and Kerry (Anthony) Gregory of Festus; two siblings: Wayne Stanley of Festus and Bob Stanley of Festus; seven grandchildren: Jacob (Holly) Gregory, Jared Gregory, Brian Gregory, Kendra (Britney) Roth, Lindsey (Russ) Roth, Casey (Jerrett) McLean and Caitlyn Montoro; 12 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Nevaeh, Nicholas, Jaleel, Jazzlynn, Keirra, Kingston, Josephine, Ryleigh, Candace, Charleigh and Callie; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Sherman, Gary and Sue; two sisters-in-law: Sharon (Bob) and Brenda (Wayne); a brother-in-law: Larry (Sue); and a granddaughter: Jesse Gregory.
A celebration of life is scheduled for a later date.
