Linda D. Oshia-Allen, 75, of Cadet died May 28, 2024, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Oshia-Allen was a cashier at Fish’s Quick Stop in De Soto. Born Aug. 20, 1948, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Henry D. and Wilma (Clark) Skiles.
She was preceded in death by her first husband: Jerry “Bear” Oshia.
She is survived by her husband: Willis Allen of Cadet; four children: Lori Rhodes of Bonne Terre, David (Caren) Pruitt of Cadet, Richie Missey of Bonne Terre and Dina (Kevin) Tripp of Bloomsdale; a stepdaughter: Angie (Troy) Ochoa of De Soto; four siblings: Henry (Charlotte) Skiles of De Soto, Bob (Margaret) Skiles of Hendersonville, N.C., Betty Missey of Potosi and Jim (Janie) Skiles of Bonne Terre, 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a sister: Bonnie Lohmann; a brother: Gary Skiles; and a grandson: Jeffrey Rhodes.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. today, May 31, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray. Burial will follow in St. Joachim Cemetery in Old Mines. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
