Lawrence Robert “Larry” Milton, 75, of Olympian Village died Feb. 19, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. Mr. Milton was a graduate of Berkley High School in St. Louis. He retired as a pipefitter for Lever Brothers. He was a member of the International Chemical Workers Council Local 81 and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He enjoyed fixing and making things. Born Oct. 10, 1950, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Helen (O’Bannon) and Peter Milton.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Ann “Pat” (Dalhoff) Milton of Olympian Village; three children: Matthew Milton of St. James, James Milton of De Soto and Pete (Jessica) Milton of De Soto; eight grandchildren: Kylie (Ross) Porter, Izzy (Hunter) Newkirk, Ella Rose Milton, Alexis Milton, Tyler Milton, Austin Milton, Emalee Milton and Nicholas Milton; four great-grandchildren: Teddy Porter, Timmy Porter, Thorin Porter and Mavis Newkirk.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Milton.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Vincent Nyman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in De Soto.
