Kyle Christopher Newport, 37, of Florissant died Jan. 11, 2025, at his home. Mr. Newport was a business operations analyst at U.S. Bank. He served in the U.S. Army. Born Aug. 11, 1987, in Joplin, he was the son of Shari Treece of Festus.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two siblings: Cody (Whitney) Cawvey and Alexa (Michael) DeRousse of Festus; three nephews: Judah, Micah and Beckett; two nieces: Braelynn and Moriah; grandparents: Frank and Sandy Brown; three uncles: Keaton Treece, Chris (Lauren) Crevits and Mark (Julie) Brown; and three cousins: Ava, Evan and Kyan.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather: Bill Treece; an aunt: Kathy Treece; an uncle: Ricky Brown; and great-grandparents: Paul and Helen Kindred and Frank and Ellie Brown.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4 p.m. until memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Radiant Life Church, 11533 Gamel Cemetery Road, in Festus, officiated by Dr. Randy L. Gray.
