Kimberly Sue (Marler) Cox, 61, of High Ridge died July 20, 2024. Mrs. Cox had a passion for cooking and took delight in preparing meals for her family. Her collection of cookbooks was a testament to her love for culinary arts. She enjoyed canning, growing spices in her garden and tending to her plants. She also enjoyed moments spent with her girlfriends, whether they were taking trips together or simply enjoying each other's company. She also adored spending time with her family and dogs, Sadie and Jovi. Mrs. Cox was devoted to God and was involved in her church community. She will be remembered for her generous spirit and loving nature. Born April 1, 1963, she was the daughter of William and Mary (Wilson) Marler of Potosi.
She is survived by her husband: Harold Cox of High Ridge; two children: Tyler Cox and Ashton Cox of High Ridge; a sibling: Chatman Marler; three nieces and nephews: Samantha Marler-Tedford, Caleb Marler and Zach Marler; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sibling: William Marler Jr.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 26, at New Hope Fellowship Church, 5919 Antire Road, in High Ridge. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at the church. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Potosi. Memorials may be made to the Redemption Church Building Fund, 7301 Metropolitan Blvd., Barnhart, 63012. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
