Kimberly Ann Simpson, 67, of Herculaneum died Dec. 18, 2023, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Mrs. Simpson was a member of the Amvets 42 Ladies Auxiliary. Born Sept. 6, 1956, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Nicholas) Hooten of Eureka and the late Charles Hooten.
She is survived by her husband: Rick Simpson; three children: Craig (Hannah) Bender of Hillsboro, Dawn (fiancé Shawn Fleiss) Murray of Hillsboro and Ricky (Amy) Simpson of Crestwood; two siblings: Brad (Karen) Hooten of Eureka and Anita Berry of Catawissa; six grandchildren: Hallye Meyer, Alyssa Murray, Blake Bender, Kael Simpson, Rafe Simpson and Eisley Simpson; and a great-granddaughter: Scarlett Meyer.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
