Kimberly Ann Hill, 59, of Festus died March 5, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Hill loved being outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, horseback riding and spending time at the beach. She was known for her adventurous spirit and eagerness to try new activities. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, including white-water rafting, zip-lining and going on adventures with her daughter, gold mining in the mountains and making many memories with her husband. An animal lover, she valued her four dogs, Brutus, Brittany, Tiny and Bear. She will be remembered for her zest for life, her daring heart and her connection to nature. Born Oct. 2, 1965, in St. Ann, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd W. and Mildred I. (Schmuke) Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years: Barry Lynn Hill of Festus, whom she married on Oct. 22, 2008; a daughter: Jessica Shanks of New York, N.Y.; a brother: Robert Smith of Alton, Ill.; a sister: Sandra Nolan of West Branson; and numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 14, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
