Kenneth Charles “Ken” Klein, 80, of Eureka died June 5, 2025. Mr. Klein was a longtime community servant for Eureka, having been a Eureka alderman, scout master and Little League baseball and softball coach. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, cruising on his boat, riding horses with his friends and watching Cardinals baseball. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and will be known for never missing their sporting or music events. He will be remembered for saying, "call me if you need me.” He was also strong in his faith, even in times of illness. Born June 13, 1944, in Detroit, Mich, he was the son of Arline (Kenney) and Charles Klein.
He is survived by two children: K.C. (Nicole) Klein and Kellie (Gary) Holladay; four grandchildren: Hanna Ashtin (Eli), Hailee, Luke and Trey; three siblings: Beverly Franklyn, Charles "Chuck" Klein and Rick Klein; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sibling: Lois Mayowski.
Services were held June 11 at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory in Ballwin. Memorials may be made to the Endangered Wolf Center. Arrangements were under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
