Keith Louden Vinyard, 38, of Festus died March 18, 2025, in St. Peters. Mr. Vinyard was a Festus High School graduate and an accomplished musician with a bachelor of arts degree in classical guitar. He loved music and performed with several St. Louis area bands. Born Oct. 6, 1986, in Crystal City, he was the son of Sally (Watkins) and Keith “Herb” Vinyard of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Scott (Ashley) Vinyard and Craig Vinyard, both of Festus; a paternal grandmother: Elizabeth “Betty” (the late Keith B.) Vinyard of Festus; a maternal grandfather: Lewis (the late Marlene) Watkins of Park Forest, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, March 24, in the Presbyterian-Methodist Cemetery in Festus, officiated by Pastor Justin Metiva of Good News Community Church in Festus. Memorials may be made to Brenden’s Friday Backpacks, 3259 Burning Tree Lane, Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
