Keith G. Sandler, 76, of Barnhart died May 21, 2025, in St. Louis. Mr. Sandler served in the U.S. Air Force. Born May 11, 1949, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Jeanne Kowelman and Jack Sandler.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Kathy (Heimos) Sandler of Barnhart; a child: Kelly (Kevin) Peters of Festus; a sister: Marcia Kowelman of St. Louis; two brothers: Mark (Trish) Kowelman of St. Louis and Paul (Susan) Kowelman of St. Charles; three grandchildren: Madeline, Bailey and Carson; and many other family members and friends.
Services were held May 28 at Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County. Interment took place in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis at dsagsl.org in tribute to Mr. Sandler’s grandson, Carson. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
