Kathie Ann Priest, 70, of Festus died Jan. 11, 2025. Ms. Priest worked as a dietary aide for Mercy Hospital Jefferson. She enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, shopping for jewelry, shoes and clothes, listening to Elvis, watching her hummingbirds, gardening and having dinners with her family. Born Sept. 30, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Allen C. Priest and Mary L. (Waters) Faulkner.
She is survived by two sons: Russell Mattison of Joplin and Terry Mattison of Perryville; a daughter: Tina Mattison of De Soto; two brothers: Michael Priest of Festus and Russell “Rusty” Tindall of Versailles, Mo.; a sister: Jeanna (Loring) Zarlter of Higbee; three grandchildren: Paige, Jordan (Samantha) and Kenna (Nick); two great-grandchildren: Eliott and Evan; a great-grandchild on-the-way; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Debbie Priest.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
