Katherine Wooldridge, 68, of Arnold died Aug. 24, 2025. Mrs. Wooldridge moved to Arnold in 1964, where she attended Fox High School, graduating 15th in her class in 1975. She attended Southeastern Missouri State University, where she earned an associate's degree in criminal justice. She had a long and storied career working for the federal government, spending time as the cemetery director for the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks and, most recently, as the director of the National Scheduling Office for the National Cemetery Administration of the Department of Veterans Affairs. She retired in 2017 after 39 years of service. Born Dec. 20, 1956, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Grace Reeves and the late Oran Reeves.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Bruce Wooldridge; a son: Evan Bequette; three stepchildren: Clinton Wooldridge, Scott Wooldridge and Julie (Will) Donald; four grandchildren: Sydney and Austin Wooldridge and Gibson and Gordon Donald; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by her grandmother: Ada Belk; a brother: James Thomas; and a sister: Karen Michelle.
A celebration of life was held Sept. 19 at Oak Bridge Community Church in Arnold.
