Stoll, Karen

Karen Lynn Stoll, 68, of Festus died Jan. 19, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Stoll was a member, elder and with the Disciples Women of the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ in Festus. She had worked as a typesetter in St. Louis and retired from Jefferson Memorial Hospital as an X-ray technician. Born Aug. 3, 1956, in Omaha, Neb., she was the daughter of Ruth (Tennant) Osterberg of Festus and the late Douglas Osterberg.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: John “Jack” Stoll Jr.; a son: Aaron (Casandra) Stoll of Jacksonville, Fla.; a granddaughter: Gemma Stoll of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers: Craig (Pat) Osterberg of House Springs and Keith (Carolyn) Osterberg of Festus; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son: Brian Christopher Stoll.

A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, 415 N. Mill St., in Festus, 63028, officiated by Pastor Aaron Watkins. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City at a later date. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
