Judith Elizabeth "Judy" (Menley) Melroy, 83, of Kirkwood died Jan. 25, 2024. Mrs. Melroy was a member of the Saint Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood and the Fenton Historical Society. She is remembered as a beautiful, stylish and kind woman who made friends wherever she went. She loved gift-giving and never arrived at a gathering empty-handed. Born March 31, 1940, in Fenton, she was the daughter of the late Venita (Brook) and John Melroy.
She is survived by three sons: Mark (Monica) Melroy of Wildwood, Gregory (Kevin Gowdy) Melroy of St. Louis and Christopher Melroy of St. Louis City; two brothers: Michael (Barbara) Menley of Festus and Ken (JoLynn) Theiling of High Ridge; two grandsons: Alec (Kaley) Melroy and Dominic Melroy; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two siblings: Susie Connor and Jerry Menley.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Road, in Fenton. Services are scheduled for 9:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Fieser Funeral Home.
