Joyce Kay Haus, 83, of Festus died June 10, 2024, at her home. Ms. Haus worked as a bus driver for Dunklin R-5 Schools and was also a bookkeeper for Meramec Hauling. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting and fishing with her husband at their retirement home on Bull Shoals Lake. Born Nov. 12, 1940, in Pasadena, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Norma (Black) and Art Kirchner.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Kenneth Ray Haus.
She is survived by four children: Susan (Ken) Baur of Festus, Kenneth (Beth) Haus of Carbondale, Ill., Cheryl (Michael) O’Heron of Fernandina Beach, Fla., and David (Kim) Haus of Pevely; a sister: Carolyn (Fred) Hemme of Bonne Terre; 10 grandchildren: Harold (Kristen) Driemeier III, Jason (Sarah) Driemeier, Jonathan Baur, Ryan (Michelle) Haus, Tiffany (Jon) Haus, Monty Haus, Danielle LaPresta, Cameron (Pauline) LaPresta, Allen (Alex) Haus and Caleb (Jessica) Haus; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
