Joyce Christine Weidenhoffer, 48, of Byrnes Mill died Nov. 25, 2025, in St. Louis. Ms. Weidenhoffer worked in retail in many positions throughout her career, and she enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her willingness to help others and her hugs. Born Dec. 21, 1976, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Walinda L. (Evans) and Emil C. Weidenhoffer Sr.
She is survived by her significant other: Charles Minder of Byrnes Mill; a son: Johnnie Hurst III of Fredericktown; two daughters: Joani (Logan) Voss of Byrnes Mill and Jeanie Hurst of Byrnes Mill; a brother: Emil C. (Allison) Weidenhoffer Jr. of Cedar Hill; two sisters: Bonnie (Ralph) Meckfessel of Imperial and Kathy Weidenhoffer of Illinois; three grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Carla Blanton.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. until services at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at Gracelife Chapel, 9299 Church Drive, in Pevely. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
