Joseph Orville Douglas, 53, of Hillsboro died Dec. 3, 2023. Mr. Douglas was a member of Festus-Crystal City Elks 1721, Mopar Club. He enjoyed muscle cars and lifted trucks. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, sons, family and friends. Born June 8, 1970, in Decatur, Ga., he was the son of Lois (Bohn) Douglas of Herculaneum and the late Orville C. Douglas.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 31 years: Kelley Anna Douglas of Hillsboro; a son: Kelton J. Douglas of Hillsboro; two sisters: Hope (the late Jeff) DeClue of Festus and Jill Neisler of Festus; a sister-in-law: Anita (DeClue) Brinkley of De Soto; a grandson: Jeremiah J. Douglas; a granddaughter: Madeline M. Douglas; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Jacob M. Douglas.
A celebration of life will be set for a later date. Memorials may be made as a donated toy or monetary donation to We Got Your Six Toy Drive.
