John Dudley Ossenfort, 82, of Arnold died Dec. 4, 2023. Mr. Ossenfort graduated from Fox High School in 1959 and St. Louis University. He was a tax preparer, bookkeeper and maintenance man. He was a member of King Solomon Lodge 95, Herculaneum Chapter 325 OES and Arnold VFW Auxiliary 2593. He enjoyed bowling, softball, horseshoes, fishing and hunting. Born July 17, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Mildred (O’Conner) and August Dudley Ossenfort.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Roberta (Byington) Ossenfort of Arnold; two children: Carol (Steven) Eubanks of Imperial and John Ossenfort Jr. of Arnold; one sibling: Paul (Margaret) Ossenfort; and one grandchild: Aaron Ossenfort of Jackson.
Private services were held. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
