Joanna (Gann) Graves, 90, of House Springs died March 7, 2026, in Eureka. Mrs. Graves loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her husband. Together, they were members of the Memories Car Club. She also had a knack for finding hidden treasures at yard sales and while antiquing. She will be remembered as an incredible cook whose meals brought people together and made them feel right at home. Born Aug. 20, 1935, in Bloodland, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jessie (Christen) Gann.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Elmer Graves.
She is survived by a son: Jerry (Rhonda Greenhill) Graves; two grandchildren: Kristen (the late Brad) Marquardt and Shannon (Alex) Grobelny; four great-grandchildren: Mason Marquardt, Madelyn Marquardt, Rachael Grobelny and Brooklyn Grobelny; and numerous other family members and friends.
She is also preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey Graves; a daughter-in-law: Cathy (Monroe) Graves; and seven siblings: Dale Gann, Emily Ruth Gann, Orville Gann, Virginia Burley, Connie Gann, Hazel Thompson and Walter Gann.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, March 13, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html.
