Joan R. Mueller, 92, of Bloomsdale died Jan. 14, 2026. Mrs. Mueller enjoyed sewing, making jewelry and rosaries and, most of all, spending time with her family. Born July 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Marie (Weisler) Besand and Lawrence Besand.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Edgar J. Mueller.
She is survived by two daughters: Theresa Mueller and Rita (Jerry) Moore; a son: Thomas (Jennifer) Mueller; a sister: Janet Schulte; five grandchildren: Morgan (Casey) Swartz, Seth Mueller, Erin Mueller, Katherine Moore and Zachary Moore; and a great-grandson: Dakota Swartz.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Kenneth Besand.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at St. Agnes Church, 40 St. Agnes Drive, in Bloomsdale, 63627. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Agnes Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
