Joan Louise Danback, 90, of Imperial died Sept. 15, 2025. Born Jan. 1, 1935, in Kimmswick, Mrs. Danback was the daughter of the late Fred and Francis Darian.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Russell Danback.
She is survived by five children: Pam (Denis) Ditch, Jane (Jeff) Braun, Denise (Richard) Leiweke, Lynn (Troy) Litton and Karen (Robert) Morrow; nine grandchildren: Jill Dierker, Denis Ditch, Kristen Kinghorn, Kelly Downey, Dianna Leiweke, Jennifer Peppers, Joe Litton, Corey Morrow and Curtis Morrow; 18 great-grandchildren: Mikayla, Sydney, Easton, Emma, Chloe, Avery, Blake, Danni, Emily, Lucas, Alex, Brianna, Brayden, Ellen, Lexie, Livvy, Adrianna and Charolette; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by her siblings.
Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 AM to noon Monday, Sept. 22, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
