Jimmie Dale Baldwin, 85, of De Soto died June 7, 2024. Mr. Baldwin was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and he enjoyed working with his friends at Emmanuel Baptist Food Pantry, going to yard sales and flea markets and spending time with his family. Born Dec. 1, 1938, in Fredericktown, he was the son of the late Alvin and Pauline Baldwin.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia (Hunt) Baldwin, whom he married on Aug. 12, 1961, in St. Louis.
He is survived by three children: Jim (Angie) Baldwin, Susan (Jeff) Schaeffer and Jon (Julie) Baldwin; five grandchildren: Shannon (Nick) Kitchen, Jake (Amanda) Baldwin, Rachel (Brett) Kardell, Bella Baldwin and Jameson Baldwin; and two great-grandchildren: Auna Baldwin and Logan Baldwin.
He also was preceded in death by a son: Michael Paul Baldwin.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
