Jerrell “Wade” McGlawn, 75, of Pevely died June 15, 2026, in St. Louis. Mr. McGlawn was a retired truck driver who dedicated many years to his career. He was a member of Arnold Church of Christ, where he enjoyed participating in activities and gathering with his church family. He was a graduate of Herculaneum High School. In his free time, he enjoyed going to deer camp and building models. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Born Jan. 28, 1951, in Tyronza, Ark., he was the son of Artie McGlawn.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda McGlawn.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons: Jeff (Beata) McGlawn and Jason (Penny) McGlawn; a daughter: Julie (Ephriam) Campbell; and five grandchildren: Greta, Szofia, Ethan, Joshua and Rachel.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Arnold Church of Christ, 1363 Jeffco Blvd. Interment will take place in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel.
