Jeramiah James “Crazy J” Snyder, 40, of De Soto died Aug. 25, 2026. Born April 30, 1986, in Festus, Mr. Snyder was the son of Russell (Heather) Snyder of Waukee, Iowa, and Melissa (Don) Politte of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children: Alexis Snyder of De Soto, Brayden Snyder of Washington, Cailyn Snyder of De Soto and Landon Snyder of De Soto; two grandchildren: Stetsyn and Colter Presley; two siblings: Aubriella Snyder of Waukee, Iowa, and Braxton Snyder of Waukee, Iowa; aunts and uncles: Colleen (Jake Henson) Minehart of De Soto, Angie (Jim) Albright of De Soto and Scott (the late Yvonne "Bo Bo") Vilmer of De Soto; a maternal grandparent: Clyde (the late Charlotte) Liverar of De Soto; and a paternal grandparent: Laura (the late Ralph) Snyder of Des Moines, Iowa.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
