Jeffrey Wayne Chapman, 62, Harrison, Ark., formerly of Festus

Jeffrey Wayne Chapman, 62, of Harrison, Ark., formerly of Festus, died Dec. 28, 2023, at his home. Mr. Chapman worked for FedEx for 27 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he loved being at the lake and at his farm with his cow, ducks and chickens. Born Dec. 1, 1961, in Oak Harbor, Wash., he was the son of Barbara Louise (Dosson) and Joseph Eugene Chapman of Festus.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children: Luke (Jorie) Chapman of Springfield, Ore., and Mitchell Chapman of Venice, Fla.; two brothers: Scott (Linda) Chapman of Festus and Michael (Amanda) Chapman of Festus; a grandson: Cormick Chapman; five nieces: Hannah, Alyssa, Katie, Lucy and Isabelle Chapman; a nephew: Jack Chapman; and three dogs: Ellie, Willow and Annie.

A memorial gathering will be from 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Kayla Roe. Memorials may be made to the Ozark Humane Society of Harrison, 5147 Rock Springs Road, Harrison, Ark., 72601. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
