Jay F. Flachs, 67, of Imperial died Feb. 19, 2026. Born April 3, 1958, in St. Louis, Mr. Flachs was the son of the late Frank and Maryann (Bruno) Flachs.
He is survived by his wife: Stacey (Colley) Flachs; three children: Amber (David) Hobbs, Brian Manning and Terry Manning; eight grandchildren: Chandler Evans, Samantha Hobbs, Sarah Hobbs, Brandon (Serena) Manning, Dylon Lay, Austin Manning, Jenna Manning and Bree Manning; a great-grandchild: Vinny Lay; two siblings: Randy (Susan) Flachs and Jack (Karen) Flachs; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
