James Michael "Jamie" Grose, 46, of Arnold died Nov. 21, 2023. Mr. Grose was a commercial sales manager at AutoZone as well as an auto mechanic. He is remembered as a jack of all trades. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars and rebuilding his old Dodge Ram, eating and being a jokester. He was a lifetime member of the “Large.” Born April 20, 1977, in St. Louis, he was the son of Jo Ann (Lechner) and Jim Covert.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Sonja S. (Marlow) Grose; two children: Devin Grose of St. Louis and Alissa Grose of St. Louis; four siblings: Toni (Paul) Craig of Arnold, Rita Harwood of Cedar Hill, Christina Grose of St. Louis and Jason (Amy) Covert of Arnold; a grandchild: Iyla; two pets: Karma Sue and Sadie May; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
