James J. Crow, 82, of Hillsboro died Jan. 27, 2025, at Fountainbleau Nursing Facility in Crystal City. Mr. Crow worked in maintenance for Dial Soap Company. Born April 28, 1942, in Davisville, he was the son of Orville and Ruth (Britton) Crow.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Clemie Alvena (Bradley) Crow.
He is survived by a daughter: Michelle Crow of Hillsboro; a brother: William Crow of Bonne Terre; a sister: Donna Vogler of De Soto; two grandchildren: Billy (Lisa) Crow Jr. of Arnold and Amber (Michael) Jordan of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and three great-grandchildren: Genevieve Crow, Charlie Jordan and Jameson Jordan.
He also was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law: Billy and Sherri Crow; and two sisters: Evelyn Hurtgen and Betty Campfield.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, in Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery, 9331 Sandy Church Road, in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
