Imogene Parker, 86, of De Soto died April 15, 2025. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker. Born March 1, 1939, in Turtle, she was the daughter of the late Tilford and Jesse Opal (Pyatt) Land.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years: Brother James D. Parker of De Soto; two children: Kelly (Lester) Gale of De Soto and Mike (Sheila) Parker of House Springs; six grandchildren: Jason (Amanda) Gale, Brent Gale, Kaleb Parker, Jacob (Kayla) Barton, Deanna (Patrick) Schneider and Christopher (Kaitlin) Barton; 12 great-grandchildren: Lane, Luke, Kinsley, Kylee, Jersie, Emitt, Briar, Kaiden, Nathan, Tara, Becca and James; and a sibling: Janet.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Karen Parker; two sisters: Geraldine and Charlotte; and two brothers: Donald and James.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until a funeral service at 3 p.m. today, April 18, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the Joymakers c/o First Free Will Baptist Church, 1401 S. 5th St., De Soto, 63020. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
