Hubert McSpadden, 73, of Festus died June 11, 2026. Mr. McSpadden was Catholic and worked as a transit mix operator. Born Jan. 7, 1953, in Van Buren, he was the son of the late Pearl (Nelson) McSpadden and Hubert McSpadden.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years: Elzona McSpadden.
He is survived by a son: Deric (Julie) McSpadden of Chesterfield; a daughter: Kymberly McSpadden of Festus; five grandchildren: Nolan and Brody Mendoza and Kamryn Graves, all of Festus, and Danica and Sterling McSpadden of Chesterfield; two siblings: Donna Schneider of Fenton and Barbara (Dave) Vogt of Lake St. Louis; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a brother: James McSpadden.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 3-5 p.m. Friday, July 17, at the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge, 4 Elks Club, in Festus.
