Hayden Paul McCoy, 21, of Arnold died Nov. 4, 2025. Hayden was a talented artist who loved music and skateboarding. Born April 14, 2004, in Festus, he was the son of Brandi (LaRose) McCoy Johnson of Festus and the late Ryan Patrick McCoy.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather: Nick Johnson; a brother: Lucas Johnson of Festus; grandparents: Sharon and Larry LaRose of Festus, Mary and Mark Antonacci of Byrnes Mill and Paul McCoy of Arnold; aunts and uncles: Dana LaRose of Festus, Jamie LaRose of Festus, Kelly and Paul Gross of south St. Louis County and Toby and Karen Svoboda of south St. Louis County; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandparent: Kathleen McCoy.
Visitation is scheduled from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the funeral home officiated by Pastor Paul Dickerson of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
