Ziegelmeyer, Glenn

Glenn Edward Ziegelmeyer, 75, of Pevely died Jan. 18, 2026. Mr. Ziegelmeyer worked at Ardagh Glass Inc. in Pevely for 30 years before his retirement. He went on to serve as an alderman for the city of Pevely for nearly three decades, where he was known for his dedication to the community. He was a member of the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge, the Joachim Masonic Lodge and St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Imperial. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his warm smile, friendly wave and the joy he brought to his neighborhood. Born March 25, 1950, in Kimmswick, he was the son of the late Emil and Dorothy Ziegelmeyer. 

He was preceded in death by his wife: Karen (Lynch) Ziegelmeyer.

He is survived by two daughters: Stacey (David) Miller of Pevely and Tonya (Ryan) Linderer of Festus; six grandchildren: Kinsey, Gracen and Landon Miller, Lydia Leeka, Cohen and Cash Linderer; a brother: Emil "Butch" (Terry) Ziegelmeyer; and a sister: Patricia (the late Ray) Roberts.

 A celebration of life is scheduled from 1-7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge, 4 Elks Club, in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
