Gladys P. Carey, 92, of Arnold died Aug. 10, 2025, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Home. Mrs. Carey was a homemaker. Born May 25, 1933, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Minnie (Wolfangel) Nolan and Thomas Nolan.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd Carey.
She is survived by a child: Steve (Kim) Carey of Hillsboro; two grandchildren: Ashley (Casey) Hodges of Hillsboro and Jake (Roschella) Casey of Stuttgart, Germany; three great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Michael and Levi; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, in St. Louis County. Visitation will resume at 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Stroke Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
