Gizella Marianna Schilling, 76, of Arnold died March 15, 2026, at Scenic Nursing and Rehab Center in Herculaneum. Mrs. Schilling was a factory worker for White-Rodgers and a former member of the Arnold Elks. She enjoyed playing poker with her friends. Born Feb. 15, 1950, in Budapest, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Gizella (Szlobadnyik) and George Jager Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Steven Schilling Sr.
She is survived by two children: Stephen Schilling Jr. of Festus and Christine (Bill) Mohart of Festus; two grandchildren: Blaine Mohart and Derek Mohart; six great-grandchildren: Valeree, Knox, Cooper, Quinn, Venture and Travis; and a brother: George (Linda) Jager Jr. of Cedar Hill.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
