Burrow, Geraldine ‘Gerry’

Geraldine "Gerry" Burrow, 71, of St. Peters, formerly of Arnold, died Aug. 6, 2026. Mrs. Burrow retired from the St. Louis County Library, where she worked for more than 20 years. She enjoyed playing games, assembling puzzles, attending themed parties, making jewelry, socializing, listening to music and reading in her downtime. She loved flowers and being outdoors. She also enjoyed traveling and recently went on a trip to Gulf Shores where she spent a week with lifelong friends and their families. Recently, she moved to a senior living environment where she quickly became friends with the residents and staff. She will be remembered for her kind heart. Born Dec. 19, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Irene (Christ) and Orville Werkmeister.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Rick D. Burrow.

She is survived by two sons: John (Sherri) Gorman and Michael (Kelly) Burrow; a brother: Gene (Lori) Werkmeister; two grandchildren: Lindsey Gorman of Coppell, Texas, and Jamie (A.J.) Freymuth of Kearney; and four great-grandchildren: Kennedi Trammell and Jaxon Gorman of Coppell, Texas, and Peyton and Teagan Freymuth of Kearney. 

She also was preceded in death by a grandson: Jeremy P. Gorman.

Per Mrs. Burrow’s wishes, her body was donated to science for medical research and education. Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.
