Gerald “Jerry” Dandridge, 76, of Pevely died Aug. 15, 2024, at the Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur. Mr. Dandridge was a network engineer and worked at several local companies throughout his career including Commercial State Life Insurance Co., Commonwealth Life Insurance Co., Coca-Cola, Anheuser Busch and, most recently, Maritz Inc. in Fenton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam with the 101st. Airborne Division Screaming Eagles. Born July 11, 1948, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ida Helen and Thomas Dandridge.
He is survived by his wife: Stephanie (Tricamo) Dandridge; a brother: Larry Dandridge; a godson; the SAVE Group of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office; friends from Maritz; the Pevely Police Dept.; many neighbors; and numerous other family members and friends.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in South St. Louis County. Burial procession is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, from the funeral home until a 1 p.m. roadside service in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County K-9 Unit or to any animal shelter of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
