Gary Edwin Davidson, 70, of Pevely died July 18, 2024, at his home. Mr. Davidson was an athlete at Windsor High School in his teenage years. He later became a “Mr. Fix-It,” who painted houses and had his own plumbing business called Gary Davidson Plumbing. He was an avid gardener who once grew a 15-foot-tall tomato plant that was mentioned on the “Paul Harvey” radio show and had an article written about it in the local newspaper. Born Dec. 2, 1953, he was the son of the late Roma and Wanda Davidson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Marsha (Barnhart) Davidson; two sons: Brad (Lisa Pettus) Davidson and Brian (Misty Hrdina) Davidson; five grandchildren: Brad Davidson Jr., Mariah Davidson, Kiana Davidson, Iris Davidson and Lucy Davidson; a brother: Barry (Susie) Davidson of Houston, Texas; four sisters: Rena Davidson Patterson of Arnold, Cindy Davidson (Dannie) Patterson of Imperial, Vanessa Davidson (Charlie) Sizemore of St. Augustine, Fla., and Jeane Davidson Evans of Imperial; and many other family members and friends.
