Frederick Wayne Boyer, 75, of Blackwell died Aug. 2, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Boyer worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, auto racing and listening to his favorite music. Born Jan. 22, 1951, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Roderique) and Frederick A. Boyer.
He is survived by a son: Josh (Lisa) Boyer of Blackwell; two grandchildren: Ashlynn (Andrew) Stott and Kendall Boyer; and a sister: Rhonda Pashia.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Kasey Ann Boyer; a brother: Joseph Boyer; and a sister: Jackie Boyer.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Friday, Aug. 14, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
