Frank Martin Lawhon, 66, of Pevely died Aug. 3, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Lawhon worked on a dairy farm for many years before retiring. In his spare time, he raised chickens and rabbits, and over the years, had cows and a goat. He found happiness outdoors, hunting and fishing whenever he could. A devoted NASCAR and football fan, he never missed a race day or a Sunday game. He also had a love for telling jokes, often ones he made up himself and only he thought were funny. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh. Born March 30, 1959, he was the son of the late Oneida (Eaton) and John Lawhon.
He is survived by his life partner: Linda Gan; a daughter: Amy (Joshua) Kraus of Imperial; a son: Jacob Lawhon of Pevely; two grandchildren: Chace Kraus and Caden Kraus; and a brother: Thomas Lawhon of Arnold.
A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, officiated by Pastor Mark McMullin. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
