Floyd Wayne Lucas, 63, of St. Louis died May 7, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Lucas was a mechanic. Born March 28, 1961, in Festus, he was the son of the late Floyd and Theresa (Pinson) Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Judy Lucas.
He is survived by two children: Natashia Hardesty of Sullivan and Kevin Lopez of Warrington, Pa.; five siblings: Charles Lucas of St. Louis, David (Hope Rush) Lucas of De Soto, Paul Lucas of De Soto, Janice (the late Jerry) Ultzen of Bonne Terre and Rosemary (Danny) Hendricks of De Soto; and four grandchildren: Starr, Autumn, Tristen and Esmeray Hardesty.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
