Evelyn Timmerman, 94, of St. Louis died Dec. 14, 2025. Mrs. Timmerman was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church, now Holy Family Parish, in Arnold, where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Ladies Sodality and St. Vincent de Paul Society. Born July 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Scheidl.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Edwin Timmerman Jr.
She is survived by a sister: Wally Rains; four children: Mary (Jim) Wargel, Sue (Jim) Altman, Alan (Pam) Timmerman and Paul (Nancy) Timmerman; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by a son: John Timmerman; and a brother: Frank Scheidl.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Mary, Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road, in St. Louis County. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Arnold. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
