Elmer E. Graves, 89, of House Springs died Sept. 18, 2023, in St. Louis. Mr. Graves served in the military and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Memories Car Club. He enjoyed classic cars, traveling to car shows all over the country, riding his Harley and spending time with family. Born Feb. 16, 1934, in Bloodland, he was the son of the late Everett and Clella Graves.
He is survived by his wife: Joanna Graves; a son: Jerry Graves; two grandchildren: Kristen (the late Brad) Marquardt and Shannon (Alex) Grobelny; and four great-grandchildren: Mason, Madelyn, Rachael, and Brooklyn.
He was preceded in death by a son: Jeffery Graves; a brother: Earnest Graves; and two sisters: Irene Gann and Lanora Bales.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon, Monday, Sept. 25, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
