Elaine Rose Wheeler, infant, died June 6, 2024. Elaine was 1 pound, 7 ounces and 13 1/4 inches long. She was known for her courageous spirit and strength. Born June 5, 2024, she was the daughter of Garrett and Jenna (Hyatt) Wheeler.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a twin sister: Edith Lynn Wheeler; grandparents: Rose and Jim Wheeler and Lynn and Joel Hyatt; great-grandparents: Ruth Wheeler, Mary and Mike Merlotti and Bennie Baumgarth; aunts and uncles: Jessalyn Hyatt, Dustin Hyatt, Jeff (Kayla) Wheeler, Jordan Wheeler, Tori Landis, Alex (Karen) Otzenberger and Jimmy Wheeler; three pets: Chevy, Judge and Neville; and many other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to the family through the GoFundMe campaign “Support for Elaine’s Funeral and Edith’s Fight” or to the GiveSendGo campaign “Baby Edith.” Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
