Eileen Marie Held, 77, of House Springs died Aug. 13, 2026, in St. Louis. Mrs. Held was an accounting clerk. She was a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Born May 12, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Violet (Wuertz) and Herbert Saeger.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Elmer Held Jr. of House Springs; three children: Eric (Lori) Held of Jackson, Miss., Amy Held of St. Louis, and Aaron (Tracey) Held of Imperial; four grandchildren: Collin Held of Imperial, Nolan Held of Imperial, Emily Held of Jackson, Miss., and William Held of Jackson, Miss; and three siblings: Robert (Cindy) Saeger of Waco, Neb., Martha (Gerard) Schellin of House Springs and Jane (David) Johnson of Missoula, Mont.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 6550 Hwy. 21, in Imperial, 63052, officiated by Bruce Elliott. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund or KFUO Radio. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
