Edward Richard “Eddie” Dallas Jr., 62, of Park Hills died Jan. 3, 2025. Mr. Dallas was raised Catholic and was a 1980 graduate of St. Pius X High School. He dedicated 37 working years to Mercy Hospital Jefferson, ultimately retiring as a maintenance worker. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, trout fishing and camping. Some of his favorite places included Silver Mines, Branson, Montauk State Park and the Smoky Mountains, where he made many memories with his wife. He was an avid fan of stock car racing and his love for sports consisted of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys. Born Jan. 24, 1962, he was the son of the late Judith “Judy” (Derque) and Edward “Ed” Dallas Sr.

He is survived by his wife: Lisa (Bouse) Dallas; two brothers: John and Scott Dallas; three stepchildren: Nakia Hummel, Nathan Hummel and Joshua Hogan; a niece: Brianne Dallas; a nephew: Josh Dallas; his mother-in-law: Rosemary (Groves) Bouse; two sisters-in-law: Denise (Michael) Wheat and Carla Mangan; a brother-in-law: Denny (Beth Barton) Bouse; his pet: Buddy; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Kevin Dallas; a half-brother: Gary Dallas; a stepson: Jacob Hogan; and his father-in-law: Dennis Bouse.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home, 1116 N Desloge Drive, in Desloge. An additional visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Leadwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
