Riiff, Edward

Edward H. Riiff, 72, of Cedar Hill died May 16, 2026. Mr. Riiff loved helping others and supporting and spending time with his family. He enjoyed going on fishing trips and traveling the country with his wife. He was a diehard baseball fan, an enthusiast of old Western movies and a lover of loud rock and roll music and live concerts. At home, he could be found doing yardwork, riding around on his four-wheeler or loving on his many grand puppies and cats. He also loved food, especially if it was a hearty breakfast. Most of all, he loved making memories with his grandchildren and making those around him groan with his silly jokes. Born July 27, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Marilyn J. (Johnson) Riiff.

He is survived by his wife: Pamela Riiff; two children: Kristen (James) Daffron and Kelly Riiff; two grandchildren: Heidi Daffron and Hannah Daffron; a brother-in-law: Glenn Zeitler; two nephews: Louis Zeitler and Curtis Zeitler; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Christine Zeitler.

A celebration of life will be held from 9:30 a.m. until a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eureka, 350 E. Fourth St. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
