Earl Louis Leach, 90, of Valles Mines died Jan. 8, 2026, at his home. Mr. Leach served in the Army National Guard. Born Oct. 25, 1935, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Grace E. (Mitchell) Leach.
He is survived by his wife: Ramona (Hogan) Leach of Valles Mines; three children: Earl (Nancy Woods) Leach of Crestwood, Linda (Mark) Eaton of Valles Mines and Debbie (Sal) Abbate of Arnold; nine grandchildren: Michelle (Joe) Pulliam, Joshua (Kristen) Schuettenberg, Justin Schuettenberg, Heather Leach, Grace (Cody Warren) Schuettenberg, Noah Eaton, Riley Eaton, Nick (Lizzie) Abbate and Megan (Adam) Thrower; 13 great-grandchildren: Dalton, Summer, Liam, Hazel, Maverick, Briannah, Adam, Spencer, Amya, Grayson, Westin, Amelia and Sophia; and three great-great-grandchildren: Nash, Myles and Skylah.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings: Pearl Brawley, Wanda Pierson, Walter “Bud” Leach, Donald Leach, Harry Leach Jr., Irvin Leach, Norman Leach and Kenny Bauer.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
